The Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s Evidence-Based Practice Award was established in 2019 by the Department of Nursing. The award recognizes excellence in the application of research and current evidence in the practice setting. The award is given to an interdisciplinary team, specialty work group, shared governance/unit based council or other committee who completed an evidence-based project resulting in a practice or policy change with improved outcomes for patients and families, staff, the organization, and/or the surrounding community.
Nominations
The 2023 nomination period is open from September 1 through September 30.
Nominations may be submitted by a member of the project team (member, lead, sponsor) or a colleague.
