Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital Recognized as a ‘High Performing Hospital’ by U.S. News & World Report 

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital has been named a high performing hospital in the metro city of Boston, according to the latest edition of the U.S. News Media & World Report's 2024-2025 Best Hospitals rankings.

The rankings, annually published by U.S. News, listed Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital as “high performing” in the following clinical specialties: Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Geriatrics, and Orthopedics. The hospital was also recognized as high performing for treatment in five procedures and conditions: congestive heart failure, diabetes, kidney failure, knee replacement, and hip replacement.

The core mission of Best Hospitals is to help guide patients who need an especially high level of care because of a difficult surgery, a challenging condition, or added risk because of other health problems, to community hospitals like Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital.

Mass General Brigham is honored to have 5 hospitals nationally recognized in U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospitals rankings. 

Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital once again earned spots on the Honor Roll among the top hospitals in the country. Brigham and Women’s Hospital is ranked #1 in the nation for obstetrics and gynecology. Massachusetts General Hospital ranked first in the nation for Psychiatry.

Three Mass General Brigham specialty hospitals – McLean Hospital, Spaulding Rehabilitation and Mass Eye and Ear – were recognized for national excellence. McLean Hospital was ranked #2 in the nation in psychiatry, Spaulding Rehabilitation is ranked #2 in rehabilitation and Mass Eye and Ear is #4 for ophthalmology and #6 for otolaryngology (ear, nose and throat care).
