From pencils and pens to crayons and glue sticks to tape and scissors, students at JP Manning Elementary School are well equipped for the new school year thanks to Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s Community Health and Wellness Department and Emerging Leaders Committee. During the months of August and September, the groups collected school supplies donated by generous hospital staff and volunteers.
During an assembly at the school, Community Health and Wellness Assistant and Emerging Leaders Committee Co-Chair Katie Plante presented 9 boxes of school supplies to students and faculty. “The staff from BWFH were extremely generous this year. The Manning students and staff could not have been more appreciative of all the supplies and it really showed how much this community cares for each other.”
The Community Health and Wellness Department and the Emerging Leaders Committee would like to thank all who donated school supplies. Your generous gifts will make a positive impact this school year for the students and faculty at JP Manning Elementary School.
