Glory Dhanaraj, MS, CCC-SLP, has recently been promoted to Speech Language Pathology Supervisor in Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s Rehabilitation Services Department.
Dhanaraj has been a Speech Language Pathologist in the department since 2015. Prior to that, she was Lead Speech Pathologist in the Medical Acute Care Unit at Hebrew Rehabilitation Center. In her new role as Speech Language Pathology Supervisor, she will be managing Speech Pathology service areas, including videofluoroscopic swallowing studies, fiberoptic endoscopic evaluations of swallowing and pediatric and adult inpatients and outpatients. She will supervise the staff as well as provide speech and language clinical services.
“I am looking forward to learning about the administrative operations of the Speech Therapy Department,” Dhanaraj says of her new challenge. “I am passionate about fostering opportunities for professional growth in our clinicians, which will allow us to continue to provide exceptional quality to the patients we care for.”
About Speech Language Pathology Services
At Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, Speech Language Pathology Supervisor Glory Dhanaraj, MS, CCC-SLP, and her staff evaluate and treat speech and language disorders in adults including, aphasia, dysarthria and cognitive communication disorders. They also provide voice therapy and evaluation and treatment of swallowing disorders. These evaluations include videofluoroscopic swallow studies and fiberoptic endoscopic evaluation of swallowing. For pediatric patients from birth to age 18, they provide evaluation and treatment of speech language and swallowing disorders.
