Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s I CARE Award recognizes staff members from all areas of the hospital who go above and beyond their regular job responsibilities to make BWFH a great place to work and receive care. Nurses Judy Driscoll, Sheila Czyrklis, Monica Sibert and Mary Diauto from the Outpatient Infusion Center were recent recipients of an I CARE Award.

The group was nominated for their I CARE Award by Outpatient Infusion Center Clinical Leader Virginia Ryan. In her nomination letter, Ryan wrote:

This team of phenomenal nurses powered through a very tough day in the Outpatient Infusion Center! We had to deal with ridiculous temperature fluctuations throughout the entire day and lost power and monitoring capability for a short time. It was a challenging day and I’m proud to say that every patient was well cared for and had a positive patient experience despite the environmental hurdles we all faced. Teamwork makes everything easier!!

Do you know a BWFH employee who has gone above and beyond to demonstrate BWFH’s I CARE Standards? To nominate a fellow colleague for an I CARE Award, please visit our employee intranet, BWFH - Vitals. A team of colleagues will personally recognize the employee by presenting them with balloons, a thank you card and a gift certificate redeemable in the cafeteria or Atrium Café.
