Nurse Practitioner takes on the role of Perioperative Flow/Operations Manager

Pam Park, FNP-C, recently accepted the role of Perioperative Flow/Operations Manager at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner.

Park has been a Nurse Practitioner in the Weiner Center for Preoperative Evaluation since 2016 where she has earned a reputation as a calm, capable and adaptable colleague and leader. Over the years, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to process improvement and excellent, evidence-based patient care.

In her new role, she will work closely with Associate Chief Nurse of Perianesthesia, Procedural and Ambulatory Services Robin Kaufman, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, NEA-BC, and the leaders and staff of the perioperative departments to enhance quality, safety and access for perioperative patients. A primary focus of this newly created role will be daily operational support for staff.

“I’m looking forward to working more closely with staff and our leadership team,” says Park of this new challenge. “I feel fortunate to work with so many dedicated professionals. In fact, it’s the people that I work with and the community we serve that has kept me here at BWFH. It is also wonderful to be part of Mass General Brigham and have those resources available for our patients and staff.”

When she is not at work, Park enjoys being outdoors, working out and spending time with her grandchildren.
