With the holidays upon us, Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s Receiving and Distribution Department would like to remind you they cannot deliver personal packages to hospital employees. Due to the large volume of incoming packages, the added responsibility of processing any personal packages would delay the turnaround time on products that may directly impact patient care. Our priority has been, and will continue to be, incoming parcels that are directly related to patient care and hospital business. We ask for your cooperation in making alternate arrangements for the delivery of any personal packages. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact Jorge Villanueva, Manager of Materials Management, at ext. 7976.

Monoclonal antibodies, administered by infusion, have been shown to help patients infected with COVID-19 combat the virus by blocking the virus that causes COVID-19 from attaching to human cells, making it more difficult for the virus to reproduce and cause harm. Monoclonal antibodies may also neutralize a virus. Here at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, we are pleased to be able to offer this potentially life-saving treatment to our patients in our Outpatient Infusion Clinic. Providers are urged to refer patients at high risk for progression to severe disease by calling 617-724-7000. You can find more information about Monoclonal antibody infusions here. If you have questions, please contact Assistant Nurse Director for Ambulatory Services Erin Kelleher, BSN, RN.
