BWFH's Campus Expansion

Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital received approval for the Determination of Need (DoN) submission in May 2022 to begin working on a campus expansion program to better support care in our communities. Construction began in May of 2023.

Construction Update: March 3–14, 2025

Garage

·Complete abatement of garage.

·Removal of north stair tower to begin.

·Garage demolition to begin.

·Continued EV Charger installation. Installation will require EV spots to be taken out of use during install.

Inpatient Addition

First Floor Radiology Active Spaces

March 3rd – March 14th

· Renovation work continues in the Radiology East Corridor and existing MRI space behind containment walls.

2^nd Floor

· Wall protection installation off hours.

·Continued use of Hospital Loading Dock.

3rd Floor – Cafeteria

·Office Area Adjacent to Cafeteria: Temporary barrier removal.

·Wall protection installation off hours.

Exterior site work

·Inpatient Addition entrance landscaping and curbing and sidewalk work will begin mid-April.

Interior work within inpatient additions

· 1^st floor: Final cleaning and punch list

· 2^nd floor – 5^th floor: punch list

· Mechanical Penthouse: final cleaning and miscellaneous insulation

· Preparation for March certificate of occupancy
