Meet BWFH’s PGY-1 pharmacy residents!

As part of Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital’s ongoing commitment to training the next generation of caregivers, the Pharmacy recently launched a PGY-1 residency program. We are pleased to welcome the first cohort of residents—Mary Eibye and Angela Martoccia Grabazs.

Mary Eibye earned her Doctor of Pharmacy in May of 2022 from Northeastern University’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences, School of Pharmacy. “Throughout pharmacy school, I knew residency was the career path I wanted to take. Needless to say, I am more than ecstatic to be joining BWFH as one of their first PGY-1 pharmacy residents,” she says. “I am looking forward to growing in the clinical field and learning from the incredible team of pharmacists here.”

Angela Martoccia Grabazs, who has worked at BWFH in the Pharmacy as an intern since 2018, earned her Doctor of Pharmacy in May of 2022 from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University. “I am grateful to be stepping into a new role and continuing with the incredible Pharmacy team at BWFH,” she says. “During the training year, I’m looking forward to building my clinical skillset and creating a lasting impact on department growth.”  

The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program is a twelve-month program designed to build on Doctor of Pharmacy education to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification and for PGY-2 pharmacy residency training.
