The Human Resources Department at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner is pleased to welcome Michelle Casey to the role of HR Coordinator.
Casey has experience in a wide range of administrative roles. Most recently she worked at a small company in the Boston area where she coordinated both the front and back end of the business. This involved processing payroll, addressing the clients’ many needs, daily invoicing/billing for the company and generally keeping things running smoothly. “After being there for about 10 years, I decided I wanted more,” she says. “I live in West Roxbury, so I thought why not look into openings at BWFH?”
In her new role, Casey will coordinate the Perks program and oversee the nomination process for the I CARE Award (internal link) among many other responsibilities. “So far I love it!” she says. “And every day I am learning something new.”
Outside of work, Casey is mom to three boys, ages 23, 21 and 16. “My youngest is a junior in high school, so he still keeps me busy,” she says.
Along with her husband, she and her boys enjoy celebrating the seasons, traveling and spending time at their family’s summer home in Maine. “There are lots of in-laws and nieces and nephews. It’s a great time,” she says. “Being able to be with family all summer is really special.”
