Dr. Christopher Chiodo, Chief of the Foot and Ankle Surgery Service at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, has been named Medical Staff President, succeeding Dr. Ronald Warner.
As Medical Staff President, Dr. Chiodo will serve as a liaison between BWFH physicians and hospital administration. He is also responsible for running the monthly BWFH Medical Executive Committee, which is attended by Division Chiefs as well as hospital managers and leadership and helps to determine and refine hospital policies and procedures.
Dr. Chiodo considers his new role an honor and a privilege. “As Medical Staff President I will have the opportunity to advocate on behalf of both our physicians and their patients,” he says. “In addition to helping make sure that our patients receive top-notch care, I look forward to working with hospital leadership to find new ways to improve the hospital as a whole.”
