Division of Surgery leadership update

Yoon Chun, MD, has been named Section Chief for the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital, effective February 1, 2020. In this role, Dr. Chun will provide leadership for the BWFH-based Plastic Surgery Service and be responsible for day to day clinical operations.

Dr. Chun was the first plastic surgeon from Brigham and Women’s Hospital to establish a practice base at BWFH in 2005, where she has developed a robust breast reconstruction practice. She is a clinically active plastic surgeon and an associate professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School. She earned her medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and was one of the inaugural members of the Integrated Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Residency Program. She trained at Massachusetts General Hospital for general surgery, followed by completion of her plastic surgery residency.

Dr. Chun is well-regarded by patients and peers for her excellent clinical outcomes and delivery of thoughtful, highly individualized patient care.

Rachel Roditi, MD, has been named Section Chief for the Division of Otolaryngology at BWFH, also effective February 1, 2020. Dr. Roditi is an attending otolaryngologist at BWH and Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Roditi received her medical degree from University of Massachusetts Medical School and completed her otolaryngology residency at the University of Rochester.

Dr. Roditi has a particular interest in multidisciplinary medical care and works collaboratively with the pulmonology, allergy/immunology and plastic surgery divisions to provide a comprehensive approach to sinonasal disease. She is an active member of the Aspirin Exacerbated Respiratory Disease Center and collaborates on clinical trials and research in the management of patients with chronic rhinosinusitis and sinonasal polyposis. She is a founding member of the Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia Center at BWH, which has been designated as a National Center of Excellence.
