  • Dr. Goralnick, who is a United States Naval Academy graduate, was also honored at the Army vs. Navy football game at Gillette Stadium on December 9. He was recognized by Chevrolet, a game sponsor, for his service to military members, veterans and families and his emergency preparedness leadership during the Boston Marathon Bombing. Some of those initiatives include the Harvard Medical School Civilian Military Collaborative, which provides mentorship, lectures and social outings for military medical students; a partnership with Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences and Mass General Brigham to partner on research, education and workforce development; and a current initiative with Human Resources, the Department of Defense and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Veterans Affairs to recruit veterans for health care careers. Dr. Goralnick also coordinated a Hanukkah candle lighting ceremony with over 60 midshipmen, cadets and families with the Kraft family.
