Bluebikes Boston now stationed at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital

With stations across Metro Boston, Bluebikes enable individuals to get where they need to go. A new station, recently installed at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital as part of our campus expansion project, aims to improve transportation options for our staff, patients, visitors and community.

With Bluebikes, riders can unlock a bike from one station and return it to any other docking station in its system. Whether you want to take one ride, ride all day or commit to a membership, Bluebikes has options for every rider, with discounted rates for income-eligible members.

“Our campus expansion project is intended to improve hospital services as well as bring improvements to our community,” says Susan Dempsey, executive leader for the Building for Clinical Excellence program. “All along, the goal has been to increase and improve access to care. Included in that, of course, is building new beds and other clinical service capacity. But we are also focused on improving traffic flow around the hospital and offering alternative means of access to our campus and community. The completion of the Bluebikes station is a huge step in that direction.”
