Annual School Supply Drive benefits JP Manning Elementary School

From pencils and pens to crayons and glue sticks to tape and scissors, students at JP Manning Elementary School are well equipped for the new school year thanks to the Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital community.

“We know that many local students of all ages are in dire need of essential educational supplies as they struggle to adjust to challenges that the pandemic brought to schools,” says BWFH’s Community Health and Wellness Program Coordinator Katie Plante. “That’s why it was more important than ever to support the students at the JP Manning Elementary School this year.”

During the annual School Supply Drive, BWFH staff are always generous with their donations and this year was no different.

“I had the pleasure of delivering eight boxes overflowing with much needed supplies to the school,” says Plante. “The students and the staff expressed their gratitude. Thanks to the BWFH community, they have the supplies they need to succeed in the year ahead.”
