At the 25th Annual Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital Golf Tournament, participants and supporters were treated to a full day of golf under clear skies. More than 120 golfers, including several BWFH staff, turned out for a challenging round at The Dedham Country and Polo Club. The event raised nearly $250,000 thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, including top sponsors Ryan Construction and Wal-Mart.
Each year, proceeds from the tournament help our doctors and staff provide superior care to the patients and families in our community. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will be invested in the ongoing enhancement of our patient and family care areas around the hospital—areas that are vital to maintaining the overall healing environment at BWFH.
“I couldn’t have asked for a better turnout to celebrate the 25th year of our tournament,” said BWFH President Michael Gustafson, MD, MBA. “It’s so inspiring to see the mix of dedicated donors, hospital staff and business partners together to help us provide the highest quality care to our patients and their families.”
And the winner is…
Also at the 25th Annual Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital Golf Tournament, participants witnessed a helicopter ball drop. Lucky winner Rawlins Roopcharan won the grand prize — an all-inclusive stay for two in tropical Barbados! If you missed it, visit BWFH’s Facebook page to see a video of the helicopter ball drop.
