Stefanie O'Connor, MS, RD, LDNStefanie O'Connor, MS, RD, LDN
Nutrition Clinic Coordinator

Stefanie is a registered dietitian who believes in meeting patients where they are and helping them make small but sustainable changes. She is inspired by gut health, the gut-brain connection, and healthy eating for all things menopause-related. Stefanie received a Certificate in Didactic Program in Dietetics, Master of Science in Nutrition and Health Promotion, and completed a one-year nutrition internship all from Simmons College.

She has contributed to several publications on topics ranging from school-aged, sports and geriatric nutrition, to food allergies, celiac and cardiovascular disease. Along with collaborating on nutrition writing, Stefanie has the pleasure of teaching interns, and received the 2023-2024 “Preceptor of the Year” award from a local dietetic internship program. Outside the clinic, Stefanie enjoys running for her own medicine and participates (along with her children, Tessa, and Cal) in organized races.

Lauren Abeles, MS, RD, LDNLauren Abeles, MS, RD, LDN

Lauren Abeles is a registered dietitian working with patients in cardiac rehabilitation and in the nutrition clinic. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, her Master of Science in Administration from Boston University and earned her Master of Science in Food and Nutrition from Framingham State University. She completed her Dietetic Internship with Hebrew SeniorLife in Boston.

Lauren has always had a passion for nutrition and healthy aging. She decided to go back to school to study nutrition after working in the computer industry, raising her two children, and taking care of her aging parents and grandparents. Her focus is on plant-based, vegetarian and heart healthy diets, sports nutrition and intuitive eating.

Ani Aroian, MPH, RD, LDAni Aroian, MPH, RD, LD

Ani is a registered dietitian with a mission to help patients navigate the complexities of nutrition with practical and realistic guidance. Her specialties include: geriatric nutrition, weight management, food insecurity, food allergies/sensitivities, gastrointestinal disorders, prediabetes, cardiovascular diseases, general wellness.

Ani received her Master in Public Health and completed her dietetic internship from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth).

When Ani is not in the office, she is sharpening her cooking skills, spending time with friends and family, or planning her next vacation spot.

Alyssa Waldman, MS, RD, LDNAlyssa Waldman, MS, RD, LDN

Alyssa is a registered dietitian with experience counseling on a range of conditions including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, gastrointestinal disorders, weight management, food allergies, and plant-based eating. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from New York University, where she also completed her dietetic internship.

Alyssa has been a vegetarian for more than 20 years, igniting her passion for nutrition. She understands there is no one “right way” to eat, and individualizes nutrition recommendations for each of her patients. Alyssa enjoys running, hiking and traveling with her husband Jake. In the summer months you’ll find her relaxing on the beach with a good book.
