The DCI Brigham/Faulkner Dialysis Unit, at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital, led by Medical Director John Kevin Tucker, MD, offers outpatient dialysis options, for individuals with Chronic Kidney Disease. Our on-site location offers patients the advantage of services and security provided at a hospital, with access to the lab, radiology, and a variety of other medical appointments.
The Out-Patient Hemodialysis unit is a 20 station facility with state of the art equipment, to provide patients with optimal care and support. The renal team consists of Nephrologists, Nurses, Patient-Care Technicians, Dietitians, Social Workers and Assistant, to aid in all components of an individual’s care.
The Out-Patient Peritoneal Department provides education, training, and support to allow successful dialysis at home. The renal team consists of Nephrologists, Nurses, a Patient-Care Technician, Dietitian, Social Workers and Assistant, as well as 24 hour on-call dialysis support.
