Outpatient psychiatry clinic welcomes new attending physician
Dr. Rajendra Aldis recently joined the Department of Psychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital. In his new role, Dr. Aldis will serve as an attending psychiatrist in the outpatient psychiatry clinic and continue his work in global mental health.
Of his decision to join the Department of Psychiatry at BWFH, Dr. Aldis says, “I look forward to working with the skilled multidisciplinary staff and clinicians of the department as they provide high-quality care to BWFH patients.”
Dr. Aldis received his undergraduate degree from Williams College before studying medicine at Dartmouth Medical School. He completed a residency in Adult Psychiatry at the Cambridge Health Alliance and was a Partners in Health Pagenel Fellow in Global Mental Health Delivery. He was also a Research Fellow in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a Mental Health Technical Advisor at the Inshuti Mu Buzima in Rwanda. Dr. Aldis is board certified in Psychiatry.
Outside of work, Dr. Aldis enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
